- Catholic Health Association of Texas
CHA Texas is a nonprofit voluntary association of
Catholic health care institutions representing
37 Catholic hospitals in 27 Texas cities, covering
ten dioceses. The Catholic Health Association
of Texas is dedicated to enhancing Catholic
health ministry through advocacy, education,
and collaboration.
The Challenge: CHA Texas was over run with
paper-based record keeping, triple data entry,
and a general lack of organization of their
mission critical data. They needed a more effective
method to not only manage their existing data,
but also to collect new data directly from association
members.
The Solution: Austin Data Works developed
a web-based database application used to strategically
manage information related to association members,
their congressional districts, counties and
total population of areas served, as well as
other relevant demographic information. The
system also included the ability to dynamically
create custom surveys that could then be used
to gather annual information from each member
and then produce trend analysis reporting based
on their responses.
